This Week in History – Poplar Street Bridge
The interstate highway bridge was designed to bring St. Louis into a new era and not detract from the new Gateway Arch, but delays and accidents kept pushing back the planned opening date until November 1967.

Queer Fight Club
Mad Green started Queer Fight Club to teach self defense to LGBTQ+ people and to provide a place of safety and acceptance.

Support Dogs
Got Your Six Support Dogs is a local non-profit that trains service dogs and therapy dogs for veterans and first responders dealing with PTSD and trauma.

Freedom Suits Exhibit
An exhibit at the Civil Courts law library focuses on the hundreds of cases of St. Louisans who sued for freedom from slavery. It includes three original documents more than 150 years old that help bring the cases to life.
