Pumpkin Recycling
When Halloween and Thanksgiving are over many pumpkins end up in the trash, but there is an effort to keep them out of landfills.

21c Hotel
The old YMCA building downtown has come back to life not just as a hotel for visitors but as a local attraction that includes an art gallery and community gathering place.

Black Improv
Black improv performers often find themselves the only people of color in a class or on stage, and that led five local performers to form the “Some Black People” improv troupe in St. Louis.

This Week in History – VP Wedding
In November 1949, St. Louis had the closest thing to a royal wedding when a widowed St. Louis secretary got married to Alben Barkely, the vice president of the United States.
