St. Louis, MO—November 8, 2021—Denise Kahle, CPA, was named Nine PBS’s new Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Kahle had been the controller at Nine PBS for almost five years and she served as the interim CFO after the retirement of longtime CFO Richard Skalski in September.

“Denise was the clear choice as our new CFO based on her knowledge of our work, her strong track record, her strategic thinking, and her ability to solve difficult problems. She is also highly respected and trusted by our team,” says Amy Shaw, president and CEO, Nine PBS.

She will be responsible for overseeing all finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, regulatory compliance, contracts, and enterprise risk management. Kahle has more than 15 years of full-cycle accounting experience, in a variety of industries, with most of her time in the nonprofit sector. She holds a Certified Public Accountant license and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a major in finance, from Saint Louis University.
