Lady M’s Magnificent Words

Lady M's Magnificent Words are essential vocabulary words organically incorporated into the dialogue of each adventure and repeated throughout as the kids try to analyze their situation, establish a plan, and overcome obstacles. By the time each adventure is over, Tyler, Nevaeh, Jadyn, and Grace will have used the words effectively and, more importantly, used them as tools to set their world right again.  

Why Magnificent Words?  

• These words are used in questions that require students to think at a higher level.
• These words show up on many different types of assessments both standardized and informal.
• Children who practice these words in their everyday lives are more likely to understand questions and the text on a deeper level. 
   

Our approach implements regular vocabulary exposure in activities like reading, watching, playing, and creating stories. We use strategic repetition of these vocabulary words throughout the series to enhance a child's ability to grasp written text and engage in meaningful conversations.
